The Blackbourne team was injured in a mission. All of them suffered eye injuries that caused them all to go blind. In the hospital, they meet a girl who's voice is sweet and kind. The girl is a stranger who happened to stumble into their room by accident. Every day, she comes in and talks to them. Weeks pass, and every time they spend time together, the boys fall in love with her more and more. The boys receive their sight back after grueling months of medication, and they are excited to meet the girl they've never seen before but she doesn't come. Nor the next day or the next day. A week passes, and the boys become curious. Was she a figment of their mind? Who was she? They look on the cameras and see a small girl with blonde hair. She seems to know where the cameras are and is always able to keep her face hidden. Emerson trails through the odd behavior of the pale, dark haired girl that he has grown to adore as he goes on a journey of what it truely means to be brave and selfless through the means of the weird cat child with glowing silver eyes meanwhile he tries to hunt down the monster in the woods.

I was not expecting to turn into werewolf on my 16th birthday, definitely not expecting the word Mate to be real and very legit and like the god damn cherry on top my parents joined us to a pack and moved me, my brother and sisters away from our only life we knew. I guess you could say I was suprised but that would be the biggest understatement of the year. The only thing I'm thinking about right now is well things could've been alot worse...... shit I really shouldn't have said that, I pretty much just jinxed myself. "O-oh." Hawks stuttered out, bringing his hands up to pat at his cheeks lightly. He didn't think about how he would look coming into the meeting after flying as fast as he did. His cheeks, nose, neck, and collarbones were a bright red color from the wind, his hair was pushed back from his forehead, frizzing at the ends, and still slightly damp. From the wide collar of his sweatshirt, the villains could see peaks of a bruise dipping beneath the fabric. "Yeah, yes. I- um. Patrol was rough and time got away from me. I flew as fast as I could to get here on time. I- I'm really sorry." He gulped when the villain stood and left the room without a word besides a soft humming noise in acknowledgement. Was he. Was he going to get something to hurt him with? Had he been too hopeful?
